  • Here's how I'm imagining stairs. The green are split logs, as shown by the bottom log. Each log would be held in place by metal pipes driven into the ground, like what I've drawn in pink. Is this crazy?

  • Out front we have about 5 new fruit trees, on a slope.
  • Can we make mini-retaining walls out of logs, again held in place with metal rods?
